Whether you are releasing a stand-alone app or an app inside one of our container apps, you will want to generate screenshots for promotional purposes.

Screenshot Sizes for Grandstand's Promotional Graphics

If you would like to take advantage of our pre-produced marketing materials, you will need to generate a .png screenshot that is 1242 x 2208. This is the size of an iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7. If you don't have one of those available you can always edit down the size of your screenshot using one of the tools below.

Because we wrap the screenshot in a phone wrapper we do require that the screenshots uploaded are screenshots without extra graphics or frames.

Editing Tools

Since we require an exact size for your screenshot when generating your marketing images, the best tools will let you edit the screenshots you can take with your own device. This includes:

Pic Resize - Upload your screenshot and crop and set it to 1242 x 2208

App Store Screenshots (Stand-Alone Apps Only)

For stand-alone apps we can generate the screenshots needed or you can provide graphics that you would like us to use. If you would like us to use them please let us know that pages you would like to feature. We typically feature the home page as the first image. Up to 5 screenshots can be used.

Different sizes are needed for both iOS and Android.

For Android they must be a jpeg or 24-bit png at any size between 320px and 3840px.

For iOS they must be a jpeg or 24-bit png at the following sizes: iPhoneX: 1125 x 2436, All Other iPhones: 1242 x 2208

App Store Screenshot Tools

Many custom tools exist to help you with your screenshots. Here are a few of our favorites:

App Shots - Starting at $1 per export, you can create beautiful screenshots for your stand-alone apps. This tool allows you to add content around your screenshot to promote the things important to you.

App Launch Pad - With a starter free plan this tool also gives you power to create custom stand-alone app screenshots.
